Repatriation General Hospital (RGH) is a 300 bed acute care public hospital specialising in the care of older people and veterans. The hospital provides a range of general medical and surgical services to people living in Adelaide. RGH offers high quality integrated care from the acute stages through to rehabilitation.

RGH is home to Rehabilitation & Therapy Services, a world-class facility purpose-built for rehabilitation. It is also home to the Daw House Hospice, renowned for quality palliative care.

Through a number of state-wide and specialist programs, among them cardiology, oncology, urology and radiology, it also services rural Adelaide and interstate regions.

Established in 1942, RGH has forged strong affiliations with a number of research facilities, some of which have co-located with the hospital. It also has solid teaching foundations in all health disciplines, with a range of educational institutes, including Flinders University of South Australia.

The hospital's mission is to: provide highest quality patient care; excellence in service; promote top quality teaching and research; respect and value our staff; encourage innovation and continual improvement in meeting the needs of our community; meet the special needs of the veteran community and work collaboratively with other health and aged care providers to enhance the health of the community of southern Adelaide.

Visiting hours for the hopsital are 8.00am to 8.00pm daily.
